I loved Betty White as Sue Anne Nivens on the Mary Tyler Moore show. Her timing was impeccable on delivering those smiling zingers as the Happy Homemaker on WJM. And her advances on Lou Grant always sent him diving into the booze bottle. She gave her Happy Homemaker a twist in a sketch with a batch of muffins on SNL, which was hilarious, all of her retorts delivered absolutely deadpan. She also still did innuendo with the SNL male cast members like only she can do it. She can still do comedy and what a feat that is to do live comedy at 88 years of age. I watched Kathy Griffin use her last season on her D List show to good effect and now I hear Betty may be approached for Oscar hosting.
