Low Price Law Abiding Citizen

The storyline flows and you will find yourself glued to this thriller, but you might not feel good about it later.
This is destined for cable and repeats which will downplay the brutality and heighten the tension of the story possibly for the better. Jamie and Gerard are serviceable and it is easy to get caught up in the story so I give this one a rent or watch on cable.Get more detail about Law Abiding Citizen.

Save Hope Floats

Austin Powers may have written that sentence as the title to his film review of Hope floats . a very likeable and talented cast and director are squandered in this mid-line-Hallmark-Hall-Of-Fame . it's always all about the writing my friends and we do indeed "have a floater" . as i reflect back on watching the film with my wife , i wonder , why not just shoot the entire film in slow motion . favorite line of dialogue ? that's too easy . Birdee tells Harry Connick Jr's character about their first kiss as youths , "i ran home and told momma that you'd had a seizure in my mouth" . Forest continues to laugh all the way to the bank . the audience reaction at the beginning of the film alone is false in tone . the crowd would jeer the cheating husband and his lover . why would educated people even consent to go on such a program ? a highly idealized fantasy of the human condition . peopled with the rich and eccentric matriarichal family member . a brilliantly skilled craftsperson who forsakes the compensation of homebuilding as it would sully his passion for his gifts . wonderfully pleasing cinematography . pleasant escapism . probably more so if you like and or love country and western music . this film is often funny . in an unintentional way . it's charms are real enough . provided by that amiable cast . written on a paper towel . deep as a tidepool . not that there is anything particularly wrong with a "light" romantic drama . those kids can really act .Get more detail about Hope Floats.

Discount The Dungeon Masters

It's been 30 years since I played Dungeons and Dragons and I certainly haven't kept up on all the changes over the years. Thus I approached this movie not as a study of of the rules and gaming but as a look into the lives of three people who also happen to be dungeon masters. On that level I think the movie succeeded.

On one level I could relate to the characters, not because I used to play D&D (and have played World of Warcraft) but because, like most people, I know what it's like to not fit in. I've always had respect for those who can get their geek on without worrying what everyone else thinks.

I really liked this movie - I found it entertaining. It was amusing in parts, touching in others. I think the movie is between a rock and hard place with viewers though. Many people not into role-playing games might not be able to get past the geekinees and just think "losers" when they watch the movie. Those into gaming may get caught up in the details (as seen in other reviews) and not be able to appreciate the movie as a whole. If you fall in between those two categories then give this movie a try...I think you'll find it worth your while.Get more detail about The Dungeon Masters.

Cheapest Daybreak, Part 3

I missed the entire run of the show on TV, but my wife encouraged me to watch it, so I got the entire series on Amazon. I have to say, this show was wonderful. It took me on an emotional ride through every season, and by the end of the series, you feel like you've known these characters for years and have suffered and rejoiced right next to them.

I am satisfied with the finale, and am a little dismayed that some people are angry simply because they implied the existence of a God at the end. The show dealt with religion the entire length of it, and though it was occasionally scornful of the failings of religion, it treated the subject fairly.

I will say that the ending was not dark, like much of the series, and I think that also helps bring about a completeness to the show. I'm sorry, but the show can't be dark the entire time. Life isn't always dark, and it isn't always sunshine and daisies. Both parts need to exist to make a story great, and both should be appreciated for what they are.Get more detail about Daybreak, Part 3.

Buying The Day After Tomorrow

I saw "The Day After Tomorrow" when it first hit the theaters and enjoyed it very much. I recently bought it on DVD and found, in it, many ideas and concepts that I had missed the first time around.

This movie has been attacked because, among other things, the events happen too quickly to represent reality accurately. Well, after some investigation into the subject, I learned that this scenario is probably exactly what happened at the beginning of the last Ice Age over 20,000 years ago.

This was referenced briefly in the scene in the Museum of Natural History when the staring characters were shocked to learn that the Woolly Mammoth displayed was found with fresh food in it's mouth and stomach (true story re: NY Museum of Natural History)indicating that it had been frozen solid in a matter of minutes or even seconds.

The movie is based on the book: "The Coming Super Storm" by Art Bell and Whitley Strieber (recommended reading).

I recommend to ignore the "naysayers" and look at the Science implied with fresh eyes and open mind.

Shop For Sleepless in Seattle

Sleepless in Seattle is a great movie on many levels. It is basically parody on "Love Story" with a few changes. Naturally if you notice the cast you already have half of the formula figured out. But the beauty in this movie is in the details.

A recent widower Sam Baldwin (Tom Hanks) and his son (Ross Malinger) moves across the country to Seattle to get away from old memories. His kid tells the father's story on a Christmas talk radio show and says that his dad needs a new wife. You hear heartstrings of women listeners twanging and more than a few closes in for the kill.

Clue Review

Go up to YouTube and search for "Madeline Kahn" and "Clue". Watch the clip called "Flames on the side of my face". It's only about a minute long, and once it's over you will have seen the only funny thing in this movie. "Clue" squanders an above average cast on a painful exercise in mugging and door-slamming that's like Mel Brooks on a really off day. Maybe it's a good movie for eleven year-olds who are also fans of the board game, but everyone else should stay away.Get more detail about Clue.

24: Redemption Best Quality

24 Redemption provides an intro to the 7th season, taking place between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. in Africa. It provides an introduction to some of the key players in the upcoming season, and adds a little context to what will take place there. It's also a chance to see Jack Bauer outside his normal element (i.e. not facing imminent death every second). Beyond that, however, it adds little. Don't run out and buy this thinking you'll be lost without it or missing a key ingredient for season 7. This movie-length episode lacks the energy and intensity usually found in 24. You also won't see any of the supporting cast you are used to. This is strictly for diehard fans who have to have all things Jack Bauer. Out in the Silence Order Now

Call me old fashioned, but this movie reminded me of an old adage about beating a rug. "The stubborn stains remain in the middle." No matter how hard you beat it, there still seems to be that nasty stain in the middle, in this instance its the middle of our country, the Heartland, the great (?) Midwest, where minds are small and bigots are big.

Perhaps it is because I live on the West Coast, but I found this film to be difficult to follow and irrelevant. Don't Look Down (No mires para Abajo) Decide Now

I guess I'm just too old to enjoy this film. While it was beautifully photographed I kind of felt I wasted time watching it. I love foreign films but this one is mediocre. Its not because of the sex. Its because, (and I know I will get pelted for this but its my opinion) it really is just soft porn.

The storyline was weak and the mysticism was an excuse to show naked young people. I don't care if sex is in a movie as long as its relevant to the storyline and not overkill. Would the audience appreciate the "beautiful coming of age story" if the stars were lumpy and out of shape? (A young Jack Black...zoinks shiver me timbers!)

I'm sorry to disagree with everyone but I did give it a try. I started watching it wanting to like it. I wanted to identify with the character because as it was advertised I saw some parallels with my own life. (Lost my father not so long ago, met my second husband not long afterward in a way that could only be described as fateful) Yet in the end I felt let down. The attempt to be deep was lost.

The only time I experienced true depth was at the end when Eloy's father appeared to him and told him life is about saying goodbye but don't let that stop you from living. That to me was what the film was supposed to be about and yet it ventured off down the road of positions and thrusts.

In any case just my two cents worth, not trying to offend anyone.Get more detail about Don't Look Down (No mires para Abajo).

Low Price Robocop

In the 80's sci-fi/action classic, "Robocop," Peter Weller plays newbie cop Alex Murphy, whom, after being ruthlessly gunned down by a crime boss and his cronies, is resurrected as a cyborg. As Robocop, Murphy is the ultimate in law enforcement, cleaning the streets of a crime-ridden Detroit (in a not too distant future that we have likely surpassed by now) all while being haunted by some unpleasant memories.

"Robocop" is the breakthrough film from director Paul Verhoeven, whose reign over the action genre was short-lived but certainly left a mark. Like all of his best films, it pushes the envelope and the limits of good taste, all in the name of good entertainment. Verhoeven combines a bit of social commentary with his high-energy, over-the-top style, but thankfully, it still makes for a film that can be appreciated on a superficial level, too. It's just that "Robocop" matches its giddy goriness and intense action with some unexpected substance, and that's okay. All of this is achieved, of course, with the assistance of some solid special effects, stop-motion animation that surprisingly still looks good and a score that sticks in your head for days.

In all honesty, though, there isn't much going in the character department. Peter Weller pulls through, and in spite of the fact that he isn't given much to do besides walk around in an obviously uncomfortable and cumbersome outfit, still manages to bring a human element to his Robocop counterpart. Kurtwood Smith (TV's "That 70's Show") lays it on a little thick as the main baddie but keeps the energy pumping through its final act, while Paul McCrane (TV's "ER") has perhaps the most memorable (read: revoltingly awesome) scene in the film. Verhoeven paces the film just right so that you don't have time to notice its lack of substantial characters and all you can do is just sit back and enjoy the ride. And what a great ride it is, as in spite of its minor flaws, "Robocop" still holds up and manages to entertain after all these years.Get more detail about Robocop.

Save There's Something About Mary

Ah, the Farrelly brothers. This is what, their masterpiece? Who am I to deny them that? This is most likely their finest film, although I am not the biggest fan of their work so that isn't saying a whole lot. But, maybe it is. The fact remains that, while I am not a gigantic fan of their work in general, I am a pretty big fan of this film. It's fun, funny and entertaining.

And believe me, there IS something about Cameron Diaz.

The film follows lovesick Ted as he attempts to track down Mary, the girl of his dreams. He knew her in high school and actually had a shot with her until a horrible accident caused a riff of embarrassment that followed Ted into his adult life. Ted hires a loser named Healy to track her down. Healy, a complete jerk, becomes smitten with Mary (because she's hot) and so he feeds Ted a slew of lies to get him off her trail and then goes in for the kill himself. Mary is successful and wealthy and looking for the right guy. Ted decides to pursue her regardless of the fact that, according to Healy, she is a wheelchair bound fatty with a slew of children and no money.

Ah, love is in the air.

`There's Something About Mary' doesn't nail every gag. The Farrelly brothers have their own style and it doesn't always work to their advantage. That said, when they do nail it, they nail it hard. In fact, every scene with that hilarious mutt named Puffy is just brilliant, and far funnier than the obsessed about hair-gel scene. The fight scene with Puffy had me in tears it was so funny, and the resuscitation scene still gets me in full barrel laughs.

The vulgarity here can be harsh, but it's also used in such a breezy nature that it becomes a part of the film, something light and airy and fun.

Ben Stiller is really good at what he does (far better than Adam Sandler) and he always nails these types of roles. Matt Dillon is hilarious here, hilariously EVIL! Lin Shaye is ridiculous. I mean, she's funny to look at really. Her leathery skin and disturbing love of her dog is just one of the many reasons to point and laugh when she is on the screen. But, as the title of the film suggests, this is all about Mary, and as Mary, Cameron Diaz is marvelous. She is certainly the funniest thing about the film, and her natural, carefree, ditzy-yet-SMARTER-THAN-YOU take on the character is classic! She nails every scene with a needed conviction, and her dramatic scenes are all tainted with enough humor to make her character completely believable and wholly adorable.

The New York Film Critics Circle was right that year!

It's not perfect, but it's a laugh riot and one that I can truly recommend. There is a lot of hype surrounding this one for those who have never seen it. It isn't the godsend of all comedies, but it is definitely noteworthy and worth taking the time to see.Get more detail about There's Something About Mary.

Love the movie.

This is without a doubt the worse quality I have ever seen on a Blu-Ray. Also while the Audio says 5.1, my new receiver showed that not being available and switched to some VCR audio mode. So right from the beginning I knew something was wrong. Then the company logo and credits started to roll. I felt like I should be looking for a tracking button on my blu player. Cheap Meet the Wives

NYC.......somehow, some reason, this show is addicting. More so than the rest. Maybe it's the New York accent or that they are rich and suppose to represent the elite of NY society yet they argue and moan over the most meaning crap. Or maybe it personality is so different and yet so defined. Romona, the good looking chick with the eyes popping at you when she's mad. The Countless, addss flair to the city and most think she's weird for doing so. Jill Zaren, typical jewish gal, rich, succresful, good looking and a temper that could whip up on the current Heavy Weight Boxer, but she's cool. Bethany the 'wannebe" but she tries. The only ones I really dont care for that much is the couple Alex and Simon. They are more interested in climbing the social ladder than being real. Like thats some big deal. I don't really care for the 6ft model they brought in, what does she add to show? Not much at all. The new chick on season 3 Sonja seems pretty cool, wild older hot chick who likes to party...my kind of gal!
Anyhow, great series.....the drama, the women, the City, you have it all.Get more detail about Meet the Wives.

Buying Irreversible

First, I got dizzy from watching it at the beginning which is unusual since I loved The Blair Witch Project and it did not make me dizzy. As for chronological or rather nonchronolgical filmaking, I'm used to that, too. As for violence I'm used to that.

But this film was so gratuitous, it ranks on the level of 8mm for shock value. I saw no redeeming value in this and stopped when Monica was seen taken in the ambulance after being raped. (Why did a prostitute tell Alex to take the underpass as being safer (than the street? That didn't make sense to me. And how many times can one use the word rec**m so many times? The foul language and beatings were really gratuitous and could have used a lot of editing. It was shock value for shock effect only.

Did You Hear About the Morgans?

The first thing that you should do after witnessing a murder is contact your plastic surgeon, so that they can alter your face, bleach your skin and surgically elongate your legs. Unfortunately, the separated couple in this rom-com decided to go to the authorities instead.

While on a reconciliation date, Paul and Meryl Morgan (Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker) bare witness to a homicide. Forced into witness-protection, they must flee NYC and hideout in Wyoming. Under the protection of local law enforcement (Sam Elliott and Mary Steenburgen), the Morgans must adapt to rural life, which, in turn, helps rekindle their relationship.

More a fish-out-of-water tale than a murder mystery, the killer chasing the Morgans is merely there to move along the romantic plot line, which is predictable and pedestrian.

Besides, when hiding out from a murderer, it is best to do so in plain sight...while wearing a fatsuit. (Yellow Light)Get more detail about Did You Hear About the Morgans?.

This is one of the types of movies that would look best in Blu-ray. This transfer to Blu-ray was poor, and it looks no better than a DVD. I got the 10th Anniversary Edition. It has about 40 pages of text and pictures of/about the movie, the actors, directors, etc. I never pay extra for special editions, but I really liked this one. Children of Dune Buy Now

While only 3-years separate the original Dune miniseries from this, the follow-up effort, there is little question that the production team involved came away with many lessons learned. This coupled to an era of quickly advancing visual technology and a less restrictive budget all result in a film that more than makes up for the fan complaints and shortcomings of the original.

Perhaps most surprising was the decision to bring on Greg Yaitanes as the project's director while retaining John Harrison as teleplay writer and producer.

Despite a title that suggests a direct adaptation of the third book of the series, this miniseries does in fact span both the second and third novel of the "Dune Chronicles". Only the second and third parts of the film have been adapted from the novel "Children of Dune"; the first part is based on "Dune Messiah".

The picture opens roughly 12-years after the events of the first Dune whereby the ancient prophecy has been fulfilled and the people of Arrakis are free of the tyrannical rule of the empire. And indeed, under the rule of the renowned Muad'dib, not only has freedom been restored but a very unlikely transformation of the scorched wasteland itself has begun to take place. Clouds now drift in the atmosphere of Dune and the once barren wasteland receives regular rain thanks to the Fremen's ability to enact a long-standing plan.

However, crusades and a slightly lusher desert environment aren't achievements enough to keep the Great Houses of the Empire from rumors of conspiracy, plotting and betrayal. Worse still, the new Arrakis climate isn't sitting well with the resident sand worms, which just so happen to be the galaxy's only known source of spice production.

While it would certainly be stretching it to insinuate that the original Dune, in any of its incarnations, is a bright & cheery tale, Children of Dune succeeds in making it look awfully ebullient in comparison. Considering the simple fact that this 267-minute miniseries actually spans two of Frank Herbert's subsequent Dune novels, the acclaim of the material at hand need be divided between Harrison, Yaitanes and Frank Herbert himself fairly evenly. As such, I will do my best to critique the film of its own merit, with the brilliance of the prose itself belonging unequivocally to the material's original author.

Perhaps the film's greatest strength then lies in the simple cautionary message that sometimes even the best intentions can cause undesired (and long lasting) repercussions. While the first installment of Dune tells of young Paul Atreides' rise to idolism as the prophesized "Muad'dib", Children of Dune focuses on the inevitable unraveling of the purity of his undertaking. Political strife and feuding factions still litter the forefront of Arrakis (Dune) but the core of this section of the grand tale weave a message of the hopelessness in trying to undo the very ideals that united a people in the first section.

The film very nicely depicts the consequence of shaded fidelity to a once-pure belief through crusades on many worlds throughout the galaxy: Of the counterintuitive logic of spreading violence in the name of peace. Additionally, and perhaps the most powerful cue in the narrative, is arguably Muad'dib's greatest contribution to his followers of all: his tireless efforts to crush the very legend of himself. Children of Dune operates, or better still thrives on the concept of what happens when the momentum of a culture begins to build in strength with such authority that even the very cause of the momentum is powerless to stand in its way.

Considering the first tale's disposition of establishing Muad'dib as a sort of antihero, one then wonders if his efforts at undoing his legacy are what actually make him a true hero in the end.

Pacing of the miniseries is slightly brisker than that of the original and spans only two discs with its three parts (thanks to a much slimmer special-features set). In this case, special features are limited to a short featurette on the second disc: "Making Dune's Children: The VFX Revealed".

Somehow the quality of the acting seems to have matured exponentially in the three short years between miniseries releases as well. Critics of Alec Newman's fairly cobby performance as Paul Atreides/ Muad'dib will most certainly retract any such claims upon witnessing his efforts in this, the follow up project. Truly it is difficult to imagine a more fitting actor for the role here.

Additionally a few casting changes had to be made between projects, perhaps the most notable of these coming in the form of Alice Krige coming in to play the role of Paul's mother Jessica (for the pregnant Saskia Reeves). The interesting thing is that both actresses do a fantastic job with the character despite the fact that their portrayals are different enough to make forgetting the actor swap nearly impossible.

New to the cast is Daniela Amavia as Paul's younger preborn sister Alia who does a magnificent job with the tortured character. The books could rightfully be accused of depicting a slightly more vigorous personality but Daniela's portrayal is convincing enough to perhaps even overwrite some of the mental images inspired by the books alone.

Susan Sarandon also joins the fray as the conniving princess Wensicia Corrino (sister of Irulan Corrino who is once again portrayed brilliantly by Julie Cox). Finally Jessica brooks and James McAvoy nail the roles of Ghanima and Leto Atreides respectively.

The visuals, like every other aspect of the film, seem to have improved exponentially over the 2000 miniseries. The VFX featurette reveals that much of the CGI work this time around was done with blue screen techniques not unlike those implemented in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones; a big budget major motion picture that was in theaters roughly the same time. Perhaps most impressive is that both of these titles seem to hold up about equally well today visually; no small feat considering Children of Dune was done on a television budget (CG tigers excepted).

In all Children of Dune is quite a wonderful achievement and perhaps the first motion picture adaptation of the books truly worthy of Frank Herbert's original vision. Some argue that it's a bit too long winded in its narrative but a story this vast and complex demands nothing less. The best comparison would perhaps be the cliché "Dune is to science fiction what Lord of the Rings is to fantasy" in that if you suffer from a short attention span or happen to be in a rush, you are probably better suited to avoid the franchise altogether.

Invariably many will feel the need to ask which is superior (the 2000 miniseries or the 2003 follow up being reviewed here) to which the only proper response would be to think of the two miniseries as companions to one another. Yes Children of Dune ups the ante in most conceivable aspects of filmmaking, but at the same time cannot stand-alone. In other words, imagine Children of Dune as being an intricate skyscraper: there is no denying its beauty and engineering integrity but at the same time, though perhaps not as fancy or pretty, the foundation on which it stands upon is essential. As much as I hate comparing the 2000 miniseries to a basement, the truth is that these films have a slightly similar relationship and I have no trouble recommending both.Get more detail about Children of Dune.

Apollo 13 Right now

Now, I've seen Apollo 13 a million times. BUT, this Blu-ray version brings so much clarity and added drama to an already fantastic movie. If Jim Lovell would have seen Earth from this Blu-ray view, there would have been no way he would have said, "Houston, we have a problem!" Fantastic performance by Tom Hanks and his colleagues. GREAT VERSION of this movie. Don't waste your money on the "regular" version. Blu-ray all the way!Get more detail about Apollo 13.

Lowest Price Annie Hall

...Because if you're interested in buying this video you surely have seen AH by now, and even if you haven't, there are plenty of other reviews on this page that discuss plot, jokes, etc.

I just want to comment on the DVD itself, and the packaging. For someone who is reportedly so particular about how his films are treated, it's amazing that Woody Allen has allowed such a shabby dub to pass through. This is a garden-variety print of AH with sections that look like they were dragged across the floor. Even those annoying little "dots" at the end of a scene that tells the projectionist of a reel change have been left in. This is the only DVD in my whole 100+ collection that has this ancient artifact.

This version of AH is *not* anamorphic! That's just mind-blowing to me, and it degrades the picture quality still further if you're watching on HD equipment.

As with Woody's DVDs, there is no commentary and no extras, aside from a trailer. Oddly, for such a short film, it's divided into FIFTY chapter stops! I have seen this sort of division with movies like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, but this?!

Of course the movie itself is wonderful, though I'm not as convinced as others that it's the immortal classic it's billed as being. Time will tell, but there are along with some brilliantly-staged scenes, a lot of awkward bits. I don't mean to come off like the guy in line behind Woody at the movie theater, but certain parts of AH lack a certain cohesiveness. Still, it's one of Woody's best films, warts and all, and should be in any Woody Allen collection. But this presentation is hardly ideal. I wonder what Criterion could do with this.Get more detail about Annie Hall.

Low Price Jack and the Beanstalk

I picked this up just as a movie to watch for end-of-the-year fun. I was pleasantly surprised at how funny it was. Yes, the "hero" thing was a little wishy-washy and a gander laying eggs doesn't make sense, but the comedy made up for it. I laughed out loud at the Princess Bride reference, Chevy Chase was very funny and the Who's On First spoof made all my students giggle. Overall I gave it 4 stars.Get more detail about Jack and the Beanstalk.

Discount Zoolander

Finally, a Hollywood movie that lampoons not just fashion but "COOL"!

It's hard to say exactly when all things cool became blatantly uncool. But the transformation is virtually complete. Almost everything associated with cool these days is little more than superficial, sensationalistic, self-serving, exhibitionist, mindless preening. Cool has come to mean fashion and fashion has come to be virtually anything loud, stupid, unwise, with a heavy heavy dose of self-righteousness thrown in.

The great irony is that "cool" has become the one form of propaganda that young people can't question without being ostracized. One aspect of the sixties movement was about transcending government propaganda aimed at it's own citizens and waking up to a higher reality. But after the sixties generation was no longer setting the trends, "cool" started a downward trend into mindlessness. Now some of the worst propaganda that is foisted on the young is in the form of "youth culture", the one thing that is virtually impossible for young people to question, because peer influence is never so great as when people are young.

The teens and early twenties are the years when peer influence is hardest to resist. And so young people are forced to swallow anything with a "cool" tag attached to it. Cool has become the new God because its dogma has the same kind of unquestionable authority. You simply can't question notions of cool without a million "zombies of cool" ripping you to pieces for your gall in daring to question it.

"Cool" has become a giant snowball rolling downhill. It keeps increasing in mass and velocity. One day it will self-destruct of its own mindlessness, like the children on the island in the novel, Lord of the Flies. Then, hopefully, newer, wiser versions of "cool" will arise to replace the old. But in my opinion, the term "cool" has been worn out and can never be the same again. The word should be retired, because everything associated with it has become tainted with mindlessness. These days, "cool" has become a license to be a loud and aggressive unquestioning idiot.

I respect Ben Stiller for daring to point that out. Although this movie may not be something you can watch over and over, it's something everyone should see once. The obvious premise of this movie might have been "the world of fashion has become superficial nonsense", but the subtext is "cool has become superficial nonsense". It was a brilliant idea. But I'm sure the message will be lost on a lot of young people.

Sixties "cool", of course, was guilty of its own varieties of mindlessness. But things have gotten only worse since then. Cool is the new religious fundamentalism. Question anything and everything! (Except "cool", of course).Get more detail about Zoolander.

Cheapest V for Vendetta

I watch this movie at least once a month. The special effects are very subtle, but that is what makes them great. You will like the character V, but you will LOVE to hear him talk. The dialog in this movie is just out of sight.
The story is very cool, and the characters in the movie are well fleshed out. I have been surprised at how many people found this movie confusing. The pivotal detail appears later in the movie, but the sequence of events and motives are clear throughout the film. Do not be intimidated by the length of the movie, or the fact that it is a "comic" movie (I must say I love comics). None of this will matter b/c it is a great show regardless of the story's origins or duration. You will be left wanting more.Get more detail about V for Vendetta.
